Prompts?

So here we are again at the first of the month. NaNo is over, thank goodness, and the holidays are here. So in the spirit of the season, I'm going to do something a little different this month.

Want a holiday Holmesian fic or ficlet from me? Then just commment below. Supplemental prompting in your comment is gold, but simply commenting "Ooo, I'd like a prezzie!" or the equivalent gets you on the list.

As always, my muse is eccentric, unpredictable, and occasionally ticklish. :-) Go on, now. Don't be shy. I'll leave the comments thread open until Tuesday, 12/6 - actually, given the recent (and ongoing) DDOS attacks, I'll extend this to Thursday, 12/8.

Prompt me!

Edited to Add: Prompts now closed! Thank you to everyone who gave me a prompt. Presents will arrive here on the blog sporadically throughout the month. :-D

Gingerbread.
Could be someone making it, some one eating it, or wherever the Muse decides to skip off to...

Eeek! I'm so sorry the rest of the family doesn't enjoy the fun of gingerbread. You'll just have to have even more fun, to compensate for the rest of them. ;-)

An abdominal aortic aneurysm. Do not ask me why, for I am not even sure myself. Bit of an odd thing to work into a story, but if you have a John in your life (not to mention a Sherlock) the strangest things tend to crop up in every day life.

"Uh, no, an AAA is not a misspelling of Alcoholics Anonymous..."

LOL - I'm going to have to do some Internet research and/or ask med_cat what that is, and just how potentially fatal it might be! Very interesting - thanks!

I got to watch one being repaired in the radiology department last month, and although it gave me bunnies, I am seriously lacking the time when it comes to fanfiction. ^^ I'm glad to pass it on to someone awesome.

Love your work, but I can't make up my mind. Pick whichever one your muse latches on to.

Option One: BBC Sherlock
After what they assumed to be the end of a case, Sherlock, John, Lestrade, Sally, and a new DI no one knows that well called Gregson all went into a lift. Then the real criminal sabotaged the lift, sticking the five between to floors. One is bleeding, one is concussed, one is mildly claustrophobic, one is late for a very important date, and one has a broken watch.

Option Two: Book Verse
Watson and Morstan, sitting in a tree! Danger near, no chance to flee! What's the danger, how did they get in it, how do they get out of it, where is Holmes, why was Watson's fiance involved in the first place, and how did Mary manage to get into the tree anyway?

OOH! A prompt. My Sherlock Holmes would have to be set in Victorian London as Sir ACD intended it to be. Lets see..

It is Christmas time and Dr Watson has finished surgery for the day closing it early so that he can go Christmas shopping for a present for Holmes. It is when he is on his way back to Baker Street that he is involved in an accident in the handsom cab he is travelling back in. As Watson lies injured he thinks of his friendship with Holmes. Sherlock Holmes hears of the accident and is distraught and rushes to help his Boswell. But was it really an accident or is there a more sinister reason for what has happened?

Any good? :)
